Order the Swiss e-vignette 2026 easily online
The Swiss e-vignette is the digital alternative to the traditional adhesive vignette. It is linked electronically to your number plate and does not need to be attached to the windscreen.
With Digivignette, you can easily record the required vehicle data online. Following successful processing, you will receive confirmation of activation by email.
Vignette 2026: valid from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2027.

Just passing through Switzerland?
Even if you are merely passing through Switzerland, you need a vignette as soon as your route takes you via Swiss motorways or expressways that require one.
This applies, for example, to many trips from Germany to Italy, of the Netherlands to Italy or from France to Austria.
Switzerland does not offer a daily, weekly or transit vignette.

Does a caravan need its own vignette?
Generally yes. Both the towing vehicle and the trailer subject to vignette requirements each need their own vignette.
Do I need to print out the e-vignette?
